1. Aim and Scope
The primary concern of Far Eastern Studies (FES) is to advance area studies which contribute to the development and the stabilization of Far Eastern Asia. We especially focus on Northeast Asian studies from economic, social, and environmental points of view, which should be integrated for consideration of sustainable development of the region. Areas of particular interest include:
- Empirical studies on Northeast Asian economic and social development- Empirical studies on Northeast Asian environment and ecosystems
- Evaluation and development of economic, social, environmental policy in Northeast Asia
