Experimental equipment

Microstructure observation equipment

Optical microscope (Nomarski type differential interference microscope)

High-end type of optical microscope
A fine structure that cannot be observed with an ordinary optical microscope.
(A fine structure can be observed with the high-end type of optical microscope that cannot be seen with an ordinary optical microscope.)

Scanning electron microscope

A device that irradiates an electron beam in a vacuum and observes the fine structure of the sample surface.

Attached function
EBSD: Computer simulation of the arrangement of atoms on the material surface it can.
(The arrangement of atoms on the material surface can be observed by the computer simulation.)
EDS: The element distribution on the material surface can be measured.
Scanning low energy electron microscope: The structure of the material surface can be particularly specified and observed.

It is a multifunctional measuring instrument with various features.

Transmission electron microscope

By transmission electron microscope, it is possible to perform elemental analysis (discriminate atom types) at the same time with high resolution (visible atomic image).

Mechanical property measuring equipment

Hardness measuring equipment

A device that measures the hardness of a material by pressing diamond against the surface of the material and measuring the size of the indentation.

The most commonly used general-purpose device in the world for measuring material strength.

Tensile tester

The king of material testing methods to measure mechanical properties (strength and ductility).
The most basic device for elucidating the mechanism of material strength.
All reinforcement theories are constructed by this device.

Material fabrication device
(research materials can be created consistently)
