There are several ways to reach Toyama City from International Airports as well as from Tokyo.

From Haneda Airport, one can directly transfer to

From Narita Airport, one of the easiest ways is to move to JR Tokyo Staition by train (e.g. Narita Express) and transfer to JR Toyama Station by Shinkansen (see below).

Domestic and Asian participants may directly fly to Toyama International Airport (TOY).

Shinkansen (High-Speed Railway)

The Hokuriku Shinkansen (high-speed railway) connects JR Tokyo Station with JR Toyama Station (3 km from the workshop venue). The "Kagayaki" train takes around 2 hours to reach Toyama from Tokyo while the "Hakutaka" train takes around 3 hours. The one-way fare is around 13,000 JPY.
