The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan has published a "Guidebook for Foreign Children and Students." This guidebook is intended to assist with enrollment in Japanese elementary and junior high schools. It provides information on basic systems, rules, and procedures.
